An E2 shout out to Jimmy and friends

Heart disease and stroke currently account for 51 precent of American deaths.

It is a harsh and sad reality given the fact that this is a disease that never need exist–and even when it does, it can be halted and EVEN reversed with proper NUTRITIONAL intervention. Dr. Lewis Kuller of the University of Pittsburgh recently reported the ten-year findings of the Cardiovascular Health Study, a project of the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute. His conclusion is startling: “All males over 65 years of age and females over 70 years of age, exposed to the traditional Western diet, have cardiovascular disease and should be treated as such.”

This is why I get SOOOOO excited when I get emails from people like Jimmy from Akron who have recruited several teachers from Erwine Middle School in Portage Lakes, Akron to join him in taking the plant-strong challenge and changing the health tide of this country. Thank you, Jimmy, for getting after it and helping to make eating plants cool, hip, and sexy!!!!
